Probono

probono2Andrew J See is heavily committed  to providing legal and advisory assistance to those people in the community who need genuine legal assistance and simply lack the financial  means to otherwise assert and protect their rights.  He attributes much of  his concern for those less fortunate as arising from the strong values and actions of the Marist and Christian Brothers that he witnessed while at school and while studying at tertiary level and working at Nudgee College.

Prior to coming to the bar, Andrew founded the Lutwyche Employment Centre,  a volunteer based employment advisory and referral service, for unemployed workers in Lutwyche and the surrounding areas.  Andrew has developed a strong sense of giving something back to the community, through assisting those who need to access pathways and networks, that often for many, are taken for granted.

Andrew is happy to consider genuine written requests for pro-bono assistance, though is only able to balance these requests within normal workloads.

probono1Over the last couple of years, Andrew has been heavily involved in raising awareness of racial discrimination and in providing legal support and assistance to those who lack the resources to contend with practical day to day matters.

Solicitors or individuals seeking assistance in this regard, should make their request in writing, setting out the reasons why the work should be undertaken on a pro-bono basis.
